There Is A Positive To Illegal Downloading?

it has been said that the people who are currently getting all of ther music for free are actually spending more money on music than the people that arent taking part in ilegal downloads. If this really is happening then maybe the government should stop wasting their time and let it pass through.

One of the major reasons why this is happening is simply because there are many people out there who just want to download the album to have a listen to without actually having to buy it which I personally think it understandable. There are many albums out there that only have a few decent tracks and sometimes a small preview just isn’t enough to tell if you are going to like the song or not.

People well then go on to buy the album or the songs that they like which all sounds quite sensible to me. There are loads of artists out there like Lily Allen that are moaning that it doesnt give smaller artists the money they need but it would seem that they may be wrong. If you are a rubbish band you will not succeed and it is as simple is that. However with the fact that these downloader’s are spending more money than non downloader’s what should be done?

The best course of action is to stop wasting money stopping the people from doing it as there will always be a way and start getting people to buy the music.

One of the main things that can be learnt out of all of this is that artists should not always jump to conclusions that the thing damaging their sales is the illegal music downloaders, it could be the normal people or just because the music isnt that good.
